Terms of Service


1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of our websites and services, and any travel coordination or booking you make with MAKEITEASY LLC ("StayColombia", "we", "us"). By using our services, you agree to them. They are read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What we do — and what we do not do

We coordinate. We do not provide dental or medical care.

  • We organize travel, accommodation, airport pickup, transfers, connectivity, travel-related support and the coordination of your appointments.
  • Dental and medical services are provided by independent, licensed professionals in Colombia, in their own clinics, under their own professional judgment and responsibility.
  • We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe or supervise clinical care, and we do not control clinical decisions. No doctor-patient relationship is created between you and us.
  • Treatment plans, prices charged by the clinic, and clinical outcomes are the responsibility of the treating professionals and their clinics.

3. Your account

You must create an account to purchase our services. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You may not share your account or use someone else's. We may suspend or close an account used for fraudulent, abusive or misleading purposes. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us. Clinical records held by the treating clinic are subject to the clinic's own retention obligations.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate and complete information, including relevant medical history.
  • Consent to us sharing your information with the treating clinic and travel suppliers.
  • Follow the medical instructions you receive, including pre- and post-treatment care.
  • Hold a valid passport and obtain any visa, entry permit or authorization required for your travel.
  • Be medically fit to travel and to receive the treatment you request.
  • Arrange your own travel and medical insurance, which we strongly recommend.

5. Quotes, prices and estimates

  • Any figure we share before a clinical assessment is an estimate, not an offer.
  • Your treatment price is confirmed only in the written quote issued after the clinic evaluates your case, valid for the period stated in it.
  • Prices may change if your clinical plan changes, if additional treatment is required, or if you change dates or materials.
  • Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. The $30 online assessment fee is credited toward your treatment if you proceed.

6. Payment and billing

Our own services. You pay StayColombia only for the services we provide directly — your assessment, our coordination work, and stay-extension support. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details.

Travel services booked with third parties. Flights, accommodation, transport, tours and similar services are booked and paid for directly with the provider, on the provider's own website or platform. We do not process those payments, we do not hold your card details, and we do not pay providers on your behalf. When we send you a provider's link, the provider shows you its own prices and availability so you can decide what fits your budget. Each provider's terms, cancellation rules and privacy policy apply.

How we make money. We earn a commission when you book travel services through the links and search tools we provide, at no additional cost to you. Prices, availability and booking conditions are set by the provider, not by us.

7. Cancellations, changes and refunds

8. Medical disclaimer

  • Dental and surgical procedures carry risks, including pain, swelling, bleeding, infection, implant failure, and the need for additional treatment.
  • Results vary and no specific result is guaranteed.
  • You must disclose your full medical history and medications. Withholding information can affect your safety.
  • Sedation and anesthesia carry additional risks and require medical clearance.
  • You must follow post-operative instructions. Activities such as paragliding or air travel immediately after surgery may not be permitted; your dentist will tell you when it is safe.

9. Travel services and independent providers

Hotels, airlines, transfer providers and tourism operators are independent suppliers. Their own terms and conditions apply, including their cancellation rules. Immigration and visa decisions are made solely by the relevant authorities, and we do not promise or guarantee any outcome. We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, strikes, weather, or other events beyond our control.

We do not act as an agent, travel agency, or payment intermediary for any airline, hotel, transfer provider, clinic or professional. We do not make bookings in your name, do not sign on your behalf, and do not accept payments for third parties. Any contract for travel services is between you and that provider; any contract for dental or medical services is between you and the treating clinic.

10. Insurance

We do not provide medical, travel or trip-cancellation insurance. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel and medical insurance before you fly.

11. Intellectual property

Our name, logos, website content and materials belong to us or are used with authorization. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

12. Content and photographs you send us

You grant us permission to use the information and photographs you send solely to evaluate your case, coordinate your care, and share your case with the treating clinic. We will not publish your photographs, case or testimonial without your separate written consent.

13. Data protection (Habeas Data, Colombia)

In Colombia, personal data is protected under Law 1581 of 2012 on the protection and processing of personal data (Habeas Data) and its implementing regulations. We process your personal data in accordance with that framework, with your prior, express and informed authorization, and only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

You may exercise your rights of knowledge, access, update, rectification and deletion of your data, and revoke your authorization, by writing to [email protected]. Complaints may be filed with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) of Colombia.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the coordination services is limited to the amount you paid to us for those coordination services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of independent clinics, professionals or suppliers. This limitation does not apply to amounts paid directly to third-party providers, which are governed by their own terms.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your inaccurate information, or your failure to follow medical instructions.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [CLÁUSULA A DEFINIR CON TU ABOGADO: tribunales de Albuquerque o arbitraje vinculante, y posible renuncia a acciones colectivas.]

17. Termination and changes

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will reflect the latest version. We may suspend or refuse service where necessary, including for abusive or disrespectful conduct.

18. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written quote or agreement, are the entire agreement between us.
