Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
StayColombia is a travel coordination service operated by MAKEITEASY LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company located at 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9977, Albuquerque, NM 87113, USA ("StayColombia", "we", "us").
We are not a dental practice, a clinic, or a healthcare provider. Dental and medical services are provided by independent, licensed professionals in Colombia. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use staycolombia.co or contact us by email, WhatsApp or phone. It is read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
You give us: name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, country of residence; the treatment you are interested in and your message; photographs you choose to send, which may include your face, smile, profile and bite; health information you choose to share (medical history, medications, previous treatments); and payment and billing details needed to process your order.
Your account. To purchase our services you must create an account. We collect your name, email address and password, and we store the information and photographs you upload in your account. You can request the deletion of your account and the personal information associated with it at any time by writing to [email protected].
Collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring site, and information collected through cookies.
From third parties: the clinic that evaluates your case, travel suppliers, payment processors, and analytics or advertising partners.
Sensitive information. Photographs and health-related details are sensitive. We use them only to evaluate your case and coordinate your care, and we do not use them for marketing without your separate written consent.
Card data. We do not collect or store card numbers. Payments for our own services are processed by our payment provider, which receives your payment details directly. For travel services purchased from third parties, your payment details go to those providers, not to us.
3. Why we use your information

- To coordinate travel, accommodation, airport pickup, transfers and related services.
- To communicate with you by email, WhatsApp or phone.
- To process payments and keep accounting records.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
- To send you marketing or updates, but only where you have agreed; you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
- The dental clinic and its licensed professionals who will evaluate and treat you.
- Travel suppliers: hotels, airlines and ticketing providers, transfer drivers and tourism operators.
- Service providers that support our operation: our website and online store platform, payment processors, email and messaging providers, hosting and analytics providers.

- Legal: when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Colombian data protection (Habeas Data)
In Colombia, personal data is protected under Law 1581 of 2012 on the protection and processing of personal data (Habeas Data) and its implementing regulations. We process personal data in accordance with that framework, which means that:
- We process your data only with your prior, express and informed authorization, which you give us when you send your information or create an account.
- We inform you which data we collect and for what purpose, as set out in this policy.
- You may exercise your rights of knowledge, access, update, rectification and deletion of your data, and revoke your authorization, by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within the terms established by law.
- Complaints may be filed with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) of Colombia, the authority that protects personal data in the country.
- Data is stored and processed applying the principles of legality, purpose, freedom, transparency, restricted access and circulation, security and confidentiality.
- Clinical records are held by the treating clinic, which is responsible for its own patients' records under Colombian health regulations.
6. International transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and Colombia. Where required, we use contractual safeguards with the parties that process information on our behalf.
7. Health information
We are not a HIPAA-covered entity. Clinical information is shared with the treating clinic so it can evaluate your case. Email and messaging are not encrypted end-to-end: send only what is necessary, and never send records you would not want transmitted that way.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including clinical records held by the treating clinic under Colombian requirements, and our own records for accounting and tax purposes for [PLAZO A DEFINIR]. After that, information is deleted or anonymized.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Colombian Habeas Data rights are described in section 5 above.
- California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Washington residents have rights under the My Health My Data Act regarding consumer health data. We collect health-related information only with your consent and use it solely to provide the services you request.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent or legal guardian.
12. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics and, where permitted, advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings. When you use our flight search or click a provider link, that provider or our affiliate partner may set cookies or identifiers to attribute your booking to us. See our Cookie Policy for details.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest version.
