1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website StayColombia.Co and the services offered through it. By using this website, contacting us, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Who We Are and What We Do
StayColombia.Co is a service brand operated by MAKEITEASY LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States. We provide remote, English-language administrative assistance for foreigners in Colombia, currently focused on two services: assistance with the extension of your permitted stay (PIP extension) and assistance with obtaining the Migratory Movements Certificate issued by Migración Colombia.
3. Nature of Our Services — Important
StayColombia acts exclusively as an authorized administrative assistant. We are NOT a law firm, we do NOT provide legal advice or legal representation, and we do NOT act as attorneys before any authority. Our role is limited to organizing, preparing, formatting, and guiding the paperwork of your administrative procedure.
Every decision regarding your immigration status, permit, extension, or certificate is made solely and exclusively by Migración Colombia or the competent Colombian authority. We do not promise, guarantee, or influence approvals, outcomes, or processing times. This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government entity.
4. Fees and Payments
Our agency fees are fixed per service and are quoted personally through WhatsApp after evaluating your specific case. We do not publish prices on this website because each case is confirmed individually before any payment is requested.
Agency fees are always separate from government fees. Government fees are established by Colombian authorities and are paid by you directly to the authority through its official channels. We never bundle, mark up, or hide government fees inside our agency fee.
Payments of agency fees are processed securely online through Stripe. We do not store your card details. Payment is required before service execution begins, after your eligibility has been confirmed and your quote accepted.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information and authentic documents. You are responsible for the veracity of the information you provide. Any consequence arising from false, incomplete, or misleading information provided by you — including rejections, sanctions, or delays — is your sole responsibility. You also agree to respond in a timely manner to our requests for information or documents needed to advance your case.
6. Resubmission Policy
If your filing is rejected for a correctable reason attributable to form, format, or documentation, we will prepare and resubmit your request at no additional agency fee, up to three (3) resubmissions per case. This policy does not apply when the rejection results from a direct discretionary decision of Migración Colombia, from false or incomplete information provided by the client, or from circumstances outside our control. Government fees for resubmissions, where applicable, remain the client's responsibility.
7. Refunds
Because our service consists of professional preparation and management work that begins upon payment, agency fees are generally non-refundable once work on your case has started. If we determine before starting that your case is not eligible for the requested service, any payment made will be refunded in full. Situations not covered here will be evaluated case by case, in good faith.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MAKEITEASY LLC's total liability arising from or related to a service is limited to the amount of the agency fee actually paid by you for that service. We are not liable for decisions of Migración Colombia or any authority, for delays or failures of government systems or portals, for consequences of information or documents provided by you, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, brand, logo, and design — belongs to MAKEITEASY LLC and may not be reproduced without prior written authorization.
10. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website, and with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data).
11. Communications
Our official communication channels are this website, the email [email protected], and our official WhatsApp line. We are not responsible for communications sent through unofficial channels or by persons impersonating StayColombia.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the services rendered. Consumer protection and data protection matters related to services provided to persons in Colombia are subject to Colombian law and the jurisdiction of Colombian authorities, including the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio. Corporate matters of MAKEITEASY LLC are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute amicably before initiating formal proceedings.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this website with its date of last update. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
